Women and status talks

In line with the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325, the UNMIK Office of Gender Affairs has conveyed to the Special Envoy, Marti Ahtisaari some recommendations concerning the participation of women representitives and the inclusion of women’s interests in the status talks.

In follow-up to the advocacy work of the Office of Gender Affairs the SRSG has released press statements on the participation of Kosovo women in political life and the status talks.
