The OGA in Action

Study and Research on Kosovo women’s business.

With the objective to address the dearth of information on women’s business or business ventures that involve women, the UNMIK Office of Gender Affairs initiated a partnership with SHE-ERA, a local women’s business organization, and funded a research on the formal and non-formal businesses that women are engaged in throughout Kosovo. The results are aimed at orientating decision-makers in the design of gender-sensitive strategies in the fields of economic development, poverty eradication, job-creation, entrepreneurship, and marketing. The research will be released during the last quarter of the year.
